Roles & Responsibilities: -The Logistics Assistant Manager/Manager will manage and lead the Operations team consisting of Warehouse, Production and Customer Service, together with each section supervisors. The Incumbent will ensure a smooth co-operation and team work between the 3 sections with efficient use of manpower and resources under the department.WarehouseOversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.Implementing operational policies and procedures.Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management and deliveries.Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.Oversee the quality and quantity check of materials prior to delivery/use and upon acceptance at warehouse.Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity and quality.Monitor daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics and procurement.Inspect vehicles, tools, and machinery equipment regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.Oversee logistics utilized to transport materials, communicating with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of the items.Check the sources and identifies potential service providers for maintenance and evaluates quotations to ensure they are in line with the required technical and commercial specifications.Handle basic administrative work such as documentation and filling.Production – SamplesOversee the quantity and quality check of materials for production of samples.Monitor daily activities of the production, including sample quality and quantity assurance, efficiency in catalogues production.Inspect tools and machinery equipment regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.Implementing operational policies and procedures.Customer ServiceEnsure customer satisfaction in order processing.Review goods return, internal transfers, credit notes generated with adequate reasoning.Train staff on product knowledge to ensure the satisfaction level of walk-in customers.Implementing operational policies and procedures.OthersAchieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures.To provide monthly report/ feedback to management on operations and staff matters.Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.Requirements: -Bachelor or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or equivalentAt least 5 years of warehouse operation and inventory management experienceExperience with developing & implementing warehouse & production workflowPrior supervisory experience with logistics personnelProficient in PC applications such as MS Office, MS Outlook & ERP systems - NavisionAble to start work immediately-
