The Asset and Wealth Management Chief Data Office (CDO) was established to define AWMs data strategy and support for the core data used across AWM and needed to run our business. The AWM CDO is positioned in the AWM Operations division, within AWM Center reporting to the AWM Chief Operational Officer (COO). We work with the AWM Business & Technology teams as well as the Firmwide CDO team to deliver robust platforms and effective operating models to ensure sound management of our data.Role DescriptionWorking within the CDO who are focusing on the international private bank (IPB) data strategy and support for the Digital and Data Transformation Agenda.The primary objective is to work with the digital business community in support of growing our digital footprint. This includes dealing with the various strategic programs that require data model assessment, system enhancements and data quality uplift.The digital programmed is one of the key enablers of the extremely ambitious growth targets that the IPB has set out.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the digital business to understand the data implications of their strategic programsClearly document, communicate and deliver changes required to our data model to assist delivery of our strategic agenda Work within our product cabinet structure to define business requirements to effect change and ensure effect prioritization of key deliverablesWork with our technology and remediation teams to ensure we prioritize data remediation programs required to ensure data is in good order to allow efficient roll out of digital programsConnect business users with data owners to ensure data structures, definitions and uses are comprehensively understoodPrepare presentations and materials for stakeholder reviews, project team meetings and leadership reviewsManage partnerships with key stakeholders including, Operations, Technology, Business Managers and AdvisorsQualificationsMinimum 7 years of Financial experience Minimum Bachelors DegreeMust have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the IPB data architecture, principally party and account data stores and the associated system feedsAbility to work well and engage with a remote teamAbility to think strategically but acting tactically where necessary to deliver business valueKnowledge of client data and related data privacy rulesAbility to work effectively and build strong relationships with teams across all levels of the organizationAbility to dive into details and synthetize information for executive communicationIndependent, organized, self-motivated and a team playerExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsAdvanced skills with the core MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint);Experience of foundational Data sets (Party, Account, instrument etc)Familiarity with extracting manipulating and visualization of complex data sets beneficial – e.g. using Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik
