In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Banks operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.ResponsibilitiesEstablish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managersEnsure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholdersPlan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, regular email bulletin. You may also be required to work on the layout of contentKeep clients abreast of progress and answer their questionsStoryboard or translate ideas to the creative team of art directors and designersUse social media to communicate with staff internallyManage an internal communications officer or whole teamDeliver presentations at organisational events, such as townhallDraft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken formEnsure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisationEnsure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messagesRespond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordinglyHandle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputationAdvise senior executives of developments throughout the organisation, either face to face or through regular written communicationRequirementsWriting skills: You need excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employeesSpeaking skills: You also need strong speaking skills as you are likely to be called on to give presentations to staff.
