Position OverviewThe Autodesk Construction Solutions Technical Sales will partner with ACS sales team to drive incremental annual recurring revenue (ARR) by proving customer’s business challenges can be achieved within the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform to deliver the desired business outcomes. This role is responsible for driving expansion in accounts by methodically evaluating our customer’s before scenarios, developing a clear understanding of a customer’s environment, challenges, and their requirements.Additionally, the successful candidate will focus on providing value through identification of customer pain points and required capabilities, facilitating a guided technical evaluation through tailored demos and pilots, and presenting the best solution recommendation that aligns with the customer need. They will be also tasked with industry/product sales enablement for incoming business development representatives (BDR) and new account executives unfamiliar with the construction industry. As a Technical Sales professional, you are an integral member of the Autodesk Sales organization supporting both our internal Sales team and external customer base to prove value and drive positive business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesAccount and Expansion Planning: Working within an account team environment, develop and execute on a strategic account expansion plan which includes both business and technical strategy to support Autodesk’s revenue goals and delivers value aligned with the customer’s business initiatives (CBIs)Sales Collaboration: In partnership with the Autodesk Construction Solutions inside sales executives, execute on primarily remote technical evaluations to ensure technical closure for customers meeting technical and qualified thresholds for opportunity size for inside opportunities while also promoting cross-product selling within Autodesk Construction CloudStructured Evaluations and Pilots: Following thorough outcomes-based “scale to fit” discovery practices, participates in tailor remote and/or on-site technical demos of the Autodesk Construction Cloud, this role is critical for leading structured evaluations and the pilot evaluation process for the Autodesk Construction CloudTechnical Closure: Working within pre-established qualifications, this role is responsible for aligning with key customer stakeholders to secure business and technical closure of the proposed solution within Autodesk Construction CloudCross-Functional Collaboration: Develops and maintains trusted working relationships with the ACS sales team. Coordinates closely with adjacent business resources (e.g. sales management, renewals, adoption, business developmentInternal Leadership: Shares best practices, innovation, and thought leadership within the sales organization, product divisions, and technical solutions organization locally and globally.
