We are a cohesive, dynamic and growing team in NUH serving the tripartite mission of clinical care, education and research within the academic health system. We are seeking a strong candidate to fill a part/full-time position to deliver services for children in the acute tertiary care and outpatient clinic setting. The caseload will comprise of both paediatric feeding and communication disorders. The ideal candidate should have a passion for serving in the public sector to meet the healthcare needs of residents in Singapore. He/she should enjoy collaborative working as part of a team in delivering patient-centred care and be driven to support or lead clinical and quality improvement initiatives. He/she should also be motivated to learn and grow personally, as well as to contribute to the growth of others and the team as a whole. Candidates should write in with a cover letter stating clinical area(s) of interest, expertise and relevant experience.The ChallengesAssess and manage patients referred for speech therapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans.Comply with clinical and service standards.Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor / other healthcare professionals when appropriate.Contribute to related clinical research projects.Assist in the supervision of speech therapists in the workgroup.
