Temasek Laboratories NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant. Temasek Laboratories NTU, our mission is to undertake cutting-edge research in defence science and technology, while pursuing new solutions and advancements in different research areas (e.g. Microsystems Technology, Hardware Assurance, Signal Processing, Advance Materials, Advance Laser Technology and Emerging Technologies).Microsystems Technology Development Centre (MTDC) at TL NTU is having ISO certified III-V Wafer Fabrication Line up to 100-mm diameter wafers with strong industrial/academic experienced Technical Specialists/ Engineers/ Scientists. We are a fast-paced research facility that designs, develops, and manufactures integrated chips, i.e. heterogeneous system in package modules, for defence and commercial applications. MTDC is planning to expand the fab operations and its wafer yield. We are looking for a dynamic candidate with strong hands-on experience to support fab operation at the Plasma/Thinfilm processesJob ResponsibilitiesGood working knowledge in wafer fabrications especially in metal deposition, oxide/nitride deposition and plasma etching processesSelf-initiator with effective Design of Experiment (DOE) to complete the work on time with conclusive remarksContinuous support and immediate feedback to the Module Lead/Asst. Fab ManagerPerform daily operations in Plasma/Thinfilm module, inclusive of metal/nitride deposition, etching, surface preparation and other relevant processes within the moduleMaintain and manage key inventories within the Plasma/Thinfilm moduleRegular preventive maintenance of the Plasma/Thinfilm equipmentsData analysis and preparation of reports/slides after the completion of experimentsTo create and update process documentation, maintenance and compliance of documentTo take care of metrology tools and perform yearly GRnRJob RequirementsBachelor Degree (with minimum 1 years of relevant experience) in either Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Material Science/Physics/Chemistry or Other related fieldOr Diploma holder with minimum 3 years relevant experience in semiconductor Plasma/Thinfilm processes will also be consideredHands-on experience with working knowledge and understanding in Semiconductor Plasma/Thinfilm processesKnowledge/experience/skills in more than two of these Plasma/Thinfilm processes, inclusive of metal/nitride deposition, etching, surface preparation etcWe regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTUIn line with Singapore’s nationwide Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS), employees must be fully vaccinated to return to the workplace, unless certified to be medically ineligible.
