Under this programme, successful applicants will be placed on a non-renewable contract until 30 Dec 2022, and can look forward to a development programme consisting of:MSF orientation and foundational programmes to gain a good understanding of the social service landscape, including our local social compact, the network of stakeholders in the sector and available assistance schemes.Domain-specific training, including in-house programmes and courses by the Social Service Institute, to develop professional competencies required for the roles that hires play in strengthening families, protecting the vulnerable and building a more inclusive society; and/orHands-on experience with casework and projects, including partnership with social service agencies and other organisations in the sector to deliver our social services.Family Promotion and Partnership Division (FPP)Strong families are the building blocks of a caring community. We want to help families realise their hopes and aspirations, strengthen familial bonds, and support them in overcoming challenges. You will be part of the Family Promotion and Partnership Division to develop and curate content to strengthen families, design and execute communications and engagement plans for family programmes, and work with stakeholders and volunteers to deliver family initiatives.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Assistant Director (Stakeholder Engagement), you will be part of the Family Promotion and Partnership Division (Family Development Group). You will drive strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and partners (public, private, people sectors) to promote family and strengthen family relationships. This includes the recruitment, growing, training and development of volunteers to promote strong families in Singapore.Volunteer ManagementActively recruit and develop volunteers to promote strong families in SingaporeCollaborate with private sector, social service agencies (SSAs) and people sector to grow network of volunteersPlan and implement volunteer management processes such as recruitment, training, activation, etcSupport the engagement and account management of the SSAs, who are our key partners in curating volunteering opportunitiesIdentify volunteer training needs and organise training programmes for volunteersCoordinate and implement volunteering platformsPlan and organise volunteer engagement and appreciation sessionsManage budget, procurement and resourcesStakeholder ManagementActively engage existing stakeholders and partners to deepen partnershipsIdentify new partners and build strategic partnershipsPlan and organise engagement sessions with stakeholders and partnersEvaluate performance and effectiveness of the partnershipsDraft and administer funding agreements with partnersMonitor and track progress of funded programmesCompetencies required:Tertiary qualificationsExcellent written, communication and interpersonal skillsPleasant and positive personality, enjoys interacting with people from different backgroundsDriven and self-motivated, able to multi-taskAble to work independently and a good team player
