The School of Social Sciences, invites applications for part-time lecturers (PTLs). We are looking for PTLs who can contribute to teaching (conducting tutorials and assessment) in our School on Ethics and Civics. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach the following topics:Human rights, justice, and equalityMeritocracyPolitical systems (Singapore, Southeast Asia)MulticulturalismFreedom of speech and responsibilityGender and diversityKey Responsibilities:Attend lectures (online).Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course.Grade course assignments (including tests, quizzes, exam scripts).Work closely with the course coordinator to handle students’ queries on course related matter.Qualification and requirement:A degree in the social sciences, specialization in political science and sociology and good knowledge of Singapore will be an advantage.Demonstrable ability to teach the proposed topics on Ethics and Civics at the undergraduate level will be an advantage.Able to tutor/lecture during office hours.To apply Interested applicants are invited to submit their applications by clicking the “Apply” button.
