The Payments Solutions Team is a strategic and execution focused group that works closely with the teams selling the firm’s WP products: TS Sales, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Consumer & Community Banking, Chase Merchant Services and Commercial Card. The group also supports WP business and staff areas on a project basis on priority topics.Position Summary:We are looking for an VP to join our Solutions Team in Singapore, reporting to the CB Global Head of eCommerce Solutions. This person will take responsibility for designing and scaling up complex, cross-product solutions to meet clients’ needs in the Tech/Fintech and eCommerce verticals, which is one of the key drivers for JPM Payments growth globally. This person will support in the execution of the JPM Payments Solutions growth strategy in APAC, working closely with Sales and Product organizations. Specifically, he/she will work with Sales to identify priority clients and industry segments, defining sales strategies, participating in proactive client engagement, collaborating with a wide array of internal stakeholders and functional partners, and developing solutions for strategic and complex deals. As such, the role involves working with Merchant Services, Treasury Services Sales, Corporate Bankers, the Investment Bank and other Product Teams to ensure the appropriate coordination and growth of the defined segments. Managing a pipeline of deals, this person will work towards ensuring delivery of deal and revenue goals annually. Key Responsibilities:Designing solutions leveraging the power of the JPMC franchise (ranging from Global Payments, FX, merchant acquiring, commercial card, trade, to retail/digital payments businesses) across existing and potential clients of the Bank.Identifying new business opportunities in rapidly evolving market, partnering closely with internal stakeholders in managing all pipeline activities around this; ensure similar sales focus in more traditional industries as they move into eCommerce spacePartner with JPM Payments sales & product management to create compelling segment specific value propositions for solutioning and proposals that will also drive marketing effortsClient engagement and presales activities - Coordinate with JPM Payments Sales, Corporate Bankers and Investment Banking Sales for proactive and aggressive client engagement; develop and present client relevant and thoughtful solution presentations aligned with Tech/Fintech and eCommerce growth strategyCoordinate and drive solutioning efforts for complex deals involving multiple products, regions or complexities associated to product deliveryProvide “voice of the client” – continuous feedback to Product teams of emerging trends in the market, client needs, and competitive offerings for product evolutionEnable broader sales teams through sharing of best practices and scaling up Tech/Fintech and eCommerce knowledge and replicable use cases across multiple clients and/or segments globallyEffectively represent product offering and value proposition in industry events and JP Morgan organized events such as Client advisory forumsCoordinate with Solutions Heads from other regions to ensure global client coverage focusing both on in-bound and out-bound client opportunities. Qualifications:8+ years of product sales or sales management experience; experience in covering eCommerce clients a plusBachelors degree or equivalent Deep knowledge of transaction banking, cross-border payments, FX and Channels, merchant acquiring, and the evolving wholesale and retail eCommerce payments spaceStrong product oriented sales experience and acumen. Excellent client facing skills.Ability to develop clear sales and marketing strategies and execute against themPrior experience in Fintech is a positiveStrong organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple deals/opportunities simultaneouslyAbility to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners – sales, product management, client service, GCB, IB and implementation
