The RoleThe Customer Relations Officer assists patients and visitors with all enquiries, follows up on inpatient service feedbacks to bridge all service gaps, and to delight patients whenever possible.Key accountabilitiesTo cover duties at both Front Office counters at Hospital main lobby and Medical CentreProvide directions and assistance to all internal and external customers by handling their requests and enquiriesAssist with patients admission from Business Office to Ward and discharge from ward Handle specialist referral To conduct ward visitation for inpatients and ensure patients confidentiality at all timesTo go the extra mile and delight patient whenever possible Handle feedbacks from all channels and provide appropriate follow up actions/ service recoveryCoordinate and conduct Maternity Tours and Hospital ToursTo prepare Daily VVIP Listing and send it out to respective HODs and senior managementTo arrange fruit baskets/ hampers for patients on VIP list and any ad-hoc requests by HODs of other departmentsTo prepare weekly and monthly reports and invoicesTo prepare gifts and presentation for hospitals festivity celebrationsTo order departments stationery and monitor departments equipment and assetsParticipate in projects and assist in eventsPerform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by FOMQualifications & ExperienceDiploma/ Degree in any discipline Good interpersonal and customer service skillsPreferably with at least 1 year of customer service experience or in the service industry Bilingual and knowledge of a foreign language will be an assetGood telephone etiquettePatient and compassionate towards guests and patientsTeam player with ability to work independentlyProficient in MS OfficeAdditional Information5 days work week, rotating shift and rostered to work on weekend and public holidays
Parkway Pantai Limited (PPL), part of the IHH Healthcare Berhad Group, is one of Asias largest private healthcare providers with operations and investments in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong, India, Vietnam and Brunei. It has a network of 17 hospitals, six of which are JCI accredited, and more than 3,000 licensed beds in aggregate. PPL also owns 60 medical centres and clinics and ancillary healthcare businesses.
In Singapore, PPL is the largest private healthcare provider and operates Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway East Hospital - all accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI), and Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital which opened in July 2012. Over 1,200 specialist doctors are credentialed by PPL to admit patients to its four hospitals in Singapore. In addition, PPL has medical centres and clinics, health screening facilities, radiology facilities, laboratories, education facilities, a clinical research organisation, rehabilitation services, a corporate insurance business and a third party administration business in Singapore which complement its hospital network. This broad range of services offered by PPLs businesses provides it with an integrated presence across the primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary healthcare sectors in Singapore.
In Malaysia, PPL is the second largest private healthcare provider in terms of the number of licensed beds. It owns and operates nine Pantai Hospitals and two Gleneagles Hospitals across Peninsular Malaysia. Over 760 specialist doctors are credentialed by PPL to admit patients to its hospitals in Malaysia. PPL also operates Pantai Premier Pathology, Pantai Integrated Rehab and one ambulatory care centre in Malaysia. PPL is currently developing three more hospitals in Malaysia, which are expected to commence operations by 2015.
In addition, PPL has a presence in China, India, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Brunei, with operations across the major healthcare sectors: hospitals, medical centres, clinics and ancillary healthcare businesses. Internationally, PPL owns and operates hospitals via joint venture agreements, or enters into consultancy agreements or HMAs to manage hospitals which are operational.
In the primary care segment, through joint ventures, PPL owns, manages and operates nine medical centres and clinics in China and Hong Kong and one diagnostics centre in India.
