Job Description

Job DescriptionOur TeamThe APAC Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Governance team supports the communication strategy for the APAC CCOR population on specific topics and leads ad-hoc assignments impacting the department. The team implements system enhancements related to the global Bulletin distribution and Flash submission processes; and coordinates the processes across regional CCOR teams.As a Senior Associate in the team, you will work with APAC CCOR stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of ad-hoc projects to support global or regional initiatives; design and draft regional communication materials to promote specific topics to APAC CCOR audience; implement new system features of the Bulletin and Flash Tools by informing APAC CCOR stakeholders of updates. The role presents an excellent opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders and gain insight into the management of CCOR in a complex global financial institution.ResponsibilitiesLead ad-hoc global or regional assignments on Compliance topics; coordinate Line of Business Compliance and Location Compliance feedback; and present results to stakeholdersPrepare metrics and communications for APAC CCOR stakeholders in relation to programs governed by the teamDesign Compliance bulletin and communication emails (e.g. newsletter) to promote specific topics and provide department updatesAct as regional representative to support the global CCPR Bulletin and Flash processesCoordinate communication between global project managers and APAC stakeholders to discuss system development status, implementation plan and consolidate APAC feedbackParticipate in global working groups and user acceptance testing of new system featuresSupport the APAC Line of Business Compliance and Location Compliance in the Bulletin and Flash production processesQualificationsMinimum of Bachelors degree or equivalentMinimum of 2 years Compliance experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate requirements and issues wellDetail-oriented, highly organizedStrong analytical, logical-thinking, judgment and problem-solving skillsStrong multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to deliver high quality artefacts within various deadlinesExcellent Excel and PowerPoint skillsFlexible and responsive to requests within a fast-paced environmentMature, highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership and is able to work independently and effectively under pressureDrive and deliver results with minimal supervisionA strong team player willing to work closely across and with multiple teams within the network of Compliance practicesThis role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 14 weeks only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.   Applications close on 14 January 2022 - Individuals must be on a voluntary career break for at least two years in order to be considered for this program
