The role of this Career Consultant involves two key functions, i.e. Account Management for Banking & Finance and Fintech sector and the other being the Team lead for the Employer Relations Support Team.Role of Career Consultant: This Career Consultant (CC) will be assigned to the Banking & Finance and Fintech sector to helm, build and sustain close relationships with employers. Apart from curating good paying job opportunities, this CC needs to understand the range of services that NTUs Career Attachment Office (CAO) provides and readily share with employers during meetings. Where there are opportunities to connect to other teams in CAO to deepen collaboration with employers, this CC will actively facilitate. As the Account Manager for Banking & Finance and Fintech sector, this CC needs to regularly keep tabs of new development in these sectors and know what their employers look for when hiring graduates. This information will be shared regularly with students via various channels, e.g. CAOs weekly eblast. This CCs other key role is to engage students via different outreach mechanism, providing advisory services to students who want to know more about specific sectors/employers, skillsets which will give them the competitive edge, progression pathway, interview process etc. This CC actively works with employers with immediate hiring needs to plan and organize industry-specific Recruitment Talks either on or off-campus. Lead for Employer Relations Support Team: Supervise a team of Support staff to plan and run a series of recruitment events to support students job search effortsManage job portal, including liaising with employers on new accounts creation, new job posting, trouble-shoot on login issues. Capture and analyze data; formulate new strategies to increase outreach to students and employersKey Requirements:Bachelor Degree preferably in disciplines relevant to the specific domains/industriesPassionate in developing and coaching students to achieve their career aspirationsProven competency in building and developing long-term relationship with industry partnersPossess strong initiative, self-motivated and achievement-orientedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to build rapport, motivate and inspire young peopleMinimum 5 years of work experience with good insights in the Banking & Finance and Fintech sectorPossess prior experience in events planning and execution, marketing. Had managed teams previously or possess prior supervisory experienceAble to work within tight deadlines, detailed-oriented and able to think out of the box when solving problems.
