Job Description

DescriptionWere looking for a social media enthusiast to manage and expand the online presence of a digital platform. The candidate will be responsible for advocating the brand on social networks. Creating our product’s social persona and actively going out within the online community to connect with potential customers and advocate the brand. The candidate will play a critical role in curating and creating content for social media to meet our business objectives.ResponsibilitiesDefine social value proposition, brand voice & best practices for mass marketIdentify new trends/developments & which social platform to use to reach the right audiencesMonitor and engage with users on all social media channels daily - including curating, crafting, posting, scheduling, measuring, analyzing, responding, listening, engaging and experimenting.Communicate with content teams on trending topics and act on them to engage the community.Manage social media with content and marketing teams to meet business objectivesTake a leadership role in cultivating social media conversations and engagement across all platformsOnline reputation management by responding to questions and complaints with a “customer first” mindset and flagging up/mitigating potential conflicts/issuesUtilize data to increase audience share organicallyRequirements1-2 years of Social Media management experience with an in-depth understanding on what works on the digital platformGreat written communication skillsSocially active using mediums like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Reddit, LinkedInIs agile, communicative, a team player and have a helpful disposition to lead/guide other colleagues when necessaryIs inquisitive and enjoys the social media ecosystem by keeping himself or herself up-to-date with digital developments/tools, trending topics and conversationsHave a good understanding of social listening tools (Digimind, Meltwater, Sprinklr) and social media analyticsA good eye for design and the ability to source/create eye-catching content using Adobe Creative Cloud or any other relevant softwareHave a winning customer-service approach and awareness to identify potential negative or crisis situationBe able to work independentlyMediacorp is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where talent thrives.
