The Asia Cards and Unsecured Lending Financial Planning and Analysis Head is a senior management level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Asia Unsecured Lending financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to manage professional team(s)/department(s) and apply analytical thinking/knowledge of data analysis methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.Job PurposeLead the Cards and Loans Segment Planning and Analysis team in AsiaAsses and drive performance of Cards and Loans businesses and countries in Asia through leading management information, analytics, and metricsDrive Strategic initiatives to improve business performance and enhanced productivityBe the ‘trusted advisor’ to the Asia Cards and Loans Business Heads and drive business dialogue at all levels of the organization to support the achievement of key business and financial goalsKey ResponsibilitiesDrive performance assessment of Cards and Loans in Asia, providing insights into the performance and drivers of the business through financial analysis and leading financial metricsProvide insights into areas of underperformance and propose corrective actionsRepresenting Finance in senior Cards and Loans business committeesDrive strategic exercises for the businesses in Asia working closely with country FP&A teams, including annual budgets and 3 to 5 year strategic plansLead in country Asia business reviews with product and country managementLead Asia Cards and Loans FP&A team and activitiesContinue to drive FP&A reengineering efforts in partnership with the regional FP&A teamOversee preparation of strategic plans (annual, quarterly forecast, 3-year strategic plans, etc.)Partner with Asia controllers to ensure completeness and accuracy Cards and Loans P&LsPlay key interface role with other functional areasDevelop pipeline of finance talent through management and coaching of immediate teams as well as with partners across the marketsDevelopment ValueGCB FP&A team acts as strategic partner across the GCB business (product and country business lines).
