The Early Intervention Centre is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Speech-Language Therapist, with excellent analytical and communication skills to join our learning support team. Job ResponsibilitiesAssess and provide individualized Speech Therapy intervention for children with a wide range of speech, language and communication challengesConduct Individual and Group Speech Therapy classesTeam-oriented personality and embraces teamworkEstablish positive therapist – parent relationships through regular feedback and open communication.RequirementsMasters or Degree in Speech Therapy or its equivalent (preferably recognised by the Allied Health Professional Council)Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore.Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good time management.Resilient and flexible.All applicants must have a love of young children, excellent speaking, and communication skills, and a commitment to teaching young children with special needs.We know that at the heart of being a Speech and Language Therapist is the desire to make a difference in a child’s life. About The Early Intervention CentreIn 2009, The Early Intervention Centre opened its doors to provide quality preschool programmes and therapeutic services, specially designed for children with special needs. Our goal is to unify early childhood education with early intervention methodologies and teaching strategies to provide children with a well supported, focus and meaningful learning experience during these sensitive developmental years. We aim to provide research-based, effective and high quality early childhood intervention programs that enhances and maximises the developmental growth potential of these children and minimises the development of secondary disabilities, as well as to mitigate the factors that place children at risk of disabilities.
