The ChallengesReporting to the Senior Manager/Asst Director, you will assist in supervising and managing the operations of the 2 sections in Health Information Services (HIS), namely Clinical Coding Unit (CCU) and Medical Records Office (MRO). You shall ensure that the department is able to provide health information services that meet the medical, administrative, legal, ethical, regulatory and hospital requirements. You shall work with the management to facilitate the digital transformation of the department. Your key responsibilities shall include:· Ensure smooth daily operations and delivery of quality services to both internal and external customers· Provide guidance and support to the different teams in the department· Resource planning to achieve HIS business objectives· Ensure department performance indicators and targets are met. This includes developing performance standards and indicators. · Drive change management and quality improvement initiatives, through implementation of innovative information technology applications· Liaise with MOH when requiredThe Requirements· Recognised degree with minimum 8 years of operation experience in healthcare, logistics, knowledge management or information science and technology setting· Good leadership skills with at least 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience. · Detail oriented, with an interest in both technology and science.· Able to adapt to changes in technology with ease.· Proven project management and process re-engineering skills (PMP or CITPM certification is a plus)· Proficient with Microsoft applications. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills· Strong analytical and writing skills
