Job Description

Eu Yan Sang is looking for a Regional Ecommerce lead, a change leader with both the vision and drive to take our online business into the next stage of growth. EYS is a 141-year-old established TCM brand with 200+ clinics and retail stores across the region, and we are on a mission to care for mankind by making modern Chinese Medicine more commonplace.The Digital Transformation and Growth team is a new team within EYS Group, reporting directly to the CEO office. We drive Eu Yan Sang’s Transformation strategy, with regional and total business coverage. We partner functional teams and business units via squads to develop, cascade and implement strategy end-to-end. We focus on longer-range opportunities, while being enterprising about today’s quick wins.As the Regional Ecommerce Lead, you will play the role of strategist, SME and Innovation project lead for all enterprise-level eCommerce initiatives.You will report to the Head of Digital Transformation and Growth.ResponsibilitiesLead our regional ecommerce strategy, working closely with both the transformation team and markets to define a strategic ecommerce model that will be a combination of DTC, trade partners and pure playersPlay the role of Centre of Excellence to build local markets ecommerce and omni -channel capabilities, for example but not limited to - leading initiatives to walk the store Online, identify areas of improvement, and work with countries to roadmap and implement perfect store initiativesBe the evangelist for emergent eCommerce opportunities - identify, roadmap and incubate proof of concepts in new channels (Q, Live and Social commerce)Act as key regional point of contact with ecommerce partners (marketplaces, vendors, suppliers). Define criteria for new partner selection and lead joint business planning or negotiations efforts to drive growth and cost synergies for win-win outcomesDrive designed-for-channel portfolio. Work with product team to define eCommerce assortment and innovation roadmap based on shopper behaviourCreate and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators across all marketsRequirementsOmnichannel and O2O experience, with a track record of running successful DTC storesUnderstanding of Sales Force Commerce Cloud, Sales Force Marketing Cloud, and/or other comparable tools in the eCommerce tech stackExperience working independently with markets in a regional role. Able to navigate the nuances and complexities of matrixed organisationsData-driven, customer obsessed. Endlessly curious and conversant in the latest eCommerce trends and best practicesExcellent project management skills to ensure pilots are delivered on time, in fullEye for detail and broad sense of perspective, to understand both the granular operational view and the strategic big pictureStrong bias for action, infinitely driven and adaptable. Enjoys taking charge to own and drive projects, even when lines are not clearly definedStrong collaborator with influencing skills to bring people along in solving a problem, and relentlessly resourceful in finding ways to get things doneWho we think you may be (though not limited to!)You have spent 5-7 years in a Tech Scale-up or MNC eCommerce team with a track record of running best practice eCommerce strategies and campaigns, and are now ready to prove your mettle in driving group level eCommerce strategy, working with markets to inspire, educate, and implement against our growth ambition and innovation roadmapYou’ve built a solid reputation and portfolio at an ecommerce enabler/ agency to help international clients set-up and run winning ecommerce strategies, and are now interested to experience what it looks like to be in the driver’s seat on the client sideYou would like to take your hard-won experience to the next level by applying your expertise meaningfully to a use-case with boundless potential – industry leader, vertically integrated, products and service portfolio, and importantly, rooted in a deep sense of mission that has remain unchanged for the last 141 years.If this sounds like you, join us in shaping the future of Modern Chinese Medicine!
