Job Description

Duration: 3 months (Convertible/Renewable)Work Location: Raffles Place (Walking distance from MRT); WFH (2 to 3 days a week, subject to change)Working Days: Monday to FridayWorking Hours: 9am to 6pmSalary: $3,500 to $4,500Industry: F&B and HospitalityJob PurposeThe primary role of the Assistant Accountant will be providing support mainly on the F&B, Property Investment, and Hotel Ownership sectors to the Senior Accountant and any other persons or companies assigned, in a professional and timely manner.This individual will need to assist with other industries such as Hotel Operations, Entertainment, Shared Services Company, and must be flexible in terms of job scope and work hours to meet the demands of our fast-paced and dynamic organization.This individual possesses communication, people management, meticulous, and a good team player.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly including preparation of journals and monthly schedules and annual financial statements for multiple companies.Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.) , guide and review the AP & AR work done by the Accounts Executive is recorded accurately.Checked daily summary report from POS system, check and ensure sales are accurately recorded.Perform monthly petty cash/cash float reconciliation with operations team.Handle inter-company accounts and inter-company billing and liaise with internal parties as and when necessary.Involve in monthly stock-take for the F&B outlets.Review and analyse/investigate expenses in monthly profit & lossPrepare and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT), audits, procedures and forms.Review or guide on the finance administrative works which prepared by Accounts Executives (e.g. Bank documents, corporate secretarial documents and etc.).Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, banks, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.Assist in preparation of weekly cash movement analysis and monthly cashflow projections.Assist in budget preparation and input, forecast reports as and when required.Handles ad hoc assignments as and when required.The Ideal CandidateDegree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalentMinimum 4 to 5 years of relevant working experienceWorking experience in F&B and/or Hospitality industries will be an added advantageExposure to the jurisdiction of Australia and Indonesia will be an added advantageProficient in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with Oracle NetSuite and Navision will be an added advantageGood understanding in inter-company transactionsGood team player, self-discipline, meticulous, attentive, committed, and able to work independentlyInterested candidates who wish to apply for the advertised position and/or for more career opportunities, please send us an updated copy of your resume.https://wa.me/6581214759Or via email (Attention to Anson & Job Title)Contact number: 8121 4759Reg No: R22110694 (Tan De En Anson) EA License No.: 01C4394We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.By sending us your personal data and curriculum vitae (CV), you are deemed to consent to PERSOLKELLY Singapore Pte Ltd and its affiliates collecting, using and disclosing my personal data for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy which is available at www.persolkelly.com.sg I also acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the said Privacy Policy.
