The Business Support team is responsible to integrate SIM Digital with the business to pave the path for the pivoting of revenues to digital. The Assistant Director, Business Support will lead this team to bridge the gap and establish capabilities, processes to encourage business to adopt the new digital capabilities provided by SIM Digital. This role is also instrumental in defining and establishing processes that meets our quality standards, efficient and delivers an engaging learner experience. It also brings to the surface opportunities for solving existing problems via digital means.This role reports into Chief Digital Solutions, Platform & Infrastructure (DSPI) Officer.ResponsibilitiesLead the SIM Digital adoption with the Business by being proactive in engaging, solving, defining and curating services. Focus on making it easy for the Business to come onboard SIM Digital.Own the necessary change management (i.e. Lead) for the digital adoption regardless of business or DSPI. This is necessary during the period of new product and services launch where the clarity of roles and responsibility is not clear.Establish “BAU” roles and processes so that the digital pathway is repeatable and operational. Over the medium term, transition the initial processes to the BAU.The above will include the following:Work with the business on the products (learning content, learning programs, courses, events) to be launched on the digital platform. Help the business understand how these will be seen, configured and supported on the digital platformObtain digital content or work with partners to convert content to digital contentWork on sales opportunity to B2B customers. i.e. help in the proposal developmentWork with the business on the B2C that comes through the online channels, monitor the digital marketing prospects, prospects to conversion to customer conversion (i.e. like an ecommerce operationsPush the usage of data by the business by making sure that data is flowing through the business, collected, analysed and used to grow the business.Be responsible to push for the pivot in revenues to come through the digital means.Joint the dots between SIM Digital and Business when it comes to improvements that are highlighted by Experience and QualityRole will be supported by SIM Digital and IT that will provide the core technology capabilities i.e. the build, the maintenance, the technical aspects that is required to enable the business.RequirementsDegree with at least 8 -10 years of relevant working experienceStrong understanding of digital concepts, technology and business modelsAbility to understand and meet the needs of customers and partnersA change agent attitude with demonstrated ability to work across boundaries to influence ways of working across diverse stakeholdersHave good problem-solving skill and ability to analyze issues from multiple perspectives and derive pragmatic and comprehensive solutions to problems in sometimes an ambiguous environment.Team player who can communicate effectively, to bring forth the ideas, plans and strategies to other stakeholders in order forge common goals and concretize deliverables.Able to work highly independently and good project management skills
