Job Description

We invite qualified candidates to apply for the following key position:Responsibilities:Event Planning and Management• Plan event with internal and external stakeholders according to requirements, target audience, objectives and timeline• Coordinate with speakers & sponsors to finalise the list of topics, the sponsorship agreement, logistic arrangements and outreach• Coordinate all logistic operations, e.g. event venue/logistics coordinators, caterers, AV technicians, registration counter set-up, event rehearsal, etc.• Develop and send EDMs and social media to target audience for event marketing activities• Provide regular updates and reporting of registrations• Help analyze the event’s success and prepare post event reportsDigital and Social Media Marketing• Develop social media advertising campaigns, analyse data and fine-tune the campaign parameters to meet marketing objectives• Help develop videos for online marketing purposes• Help design, develop websites/landing pages• Design, develop and e-blast EDMs• Enhance and update the GS1website• Develop contents to grow social media followersMarketing Database Management• Manage and grow the database for e-mail marketing in terms of quality and quantity of contactsMarketing Material Design• Draft & design promotional materials to support marketing initiatives and events, e.g. Web landing page, Sign-up page, EDM, brochures, banners, posters, booth designs, event venue set-up, etc.                   Marketing Communication• Assist in drafting and curating contents for e-newsletter and magazine• Assist to work with the media when required              Marketing Operation• Assist in reviewing and improving processes and key touch points with members, customers and partners, develop and implement effective marketing communication messages• Help close tracking of marketing budget and assist in budget planning• Responsible for the management of marketing inventories• Secretariat for Marketing meetings and industry work groups as relevantAny other tasks, projects and new responsibilities as reasonably delegated by immediate superior &/or CEO.Requirements:• Degree/Diploma in a related discipline.  Must be digitally and social media savvy• At least 2 years of relevant experience• Commercially minded with creative marketing flair• Hands-on, driven and results oriented. Able to meet deadlines and priorities• Good interpersonal skills.  Good communicator and presenter• Independent and proactive in nature.
