GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:The position is meant to increase our capacity to serve APAC customers, mainly in the field of Network Management Systems (NMS).The qualified candidate will work in APAC Delivery Team, responsible for designing, implementing and testing software programs (drivers).The qualified candidate may also perform other standard and advanced system engineering duties: integration, test, technical documentation, on-site installations, testing, and trainings.The development work will be done in factory (Singapore Branch) and may involve some amount of travels, mainly in the APAC region (i.e. 15-20% in average).JOB FUNCTIONS:PRIMARYAnalyse equipment documentation (ICDs), design, implement, test and document software programs and scripts as necessaryIdentify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modificationsWriting and implementing efficient codeDetermining operational practicalityCollaborate with other team members located in local and remote officesReport to the supervisor on progress statusWrite technical documentation (in English)Participate in meetings with customersPerform programmatic and QA tasks such as configuration management, document reviews, etcPerform other duties as assignedJOB SKILLS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
