Job Description

Responsibilities: Develop monthly and quarterly forecasts independently, leading efforts to continually refine our forecasting model in alignment with evolving business requirements.Serve as the central coordinator for the annual budgeting process, meticulously validating assumptions, collecting input from various departments, and adapting the financial model to harmonize with regional business models.Analyze the financial performance of different business segments on a weekly and monthly basis, offering insights at both the trade and service levels. Provide comprehensive commentaries for senior management to enhance their understanding of performance.Prepare detailed variance explanation presentations for senior management, comparing monthly performance against quarterly forecasts and budgets. Additionally, create materials for board meetings.Execute a variety of ad-hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor. These may include financial simulations for business cases, market and competitor analysis, and data validation.Enhance business partnering initiatives by developing a profound understanding of operations and commercial activities within our business segments. Anticipate the financial impact and offer valuable recommendations to enhance financial outcomes.Collaborate closely with local and regional stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met and expectations are exceeded.Actively contribute to ongoing process enhancement and automation projects to streamline financial operations and reporting.Tackle any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the flexibility and adaptability required in a dynamic financial environment.Requirements: strong financial modeling expertise, proficiency in creating compelling PowerPoint presentations for effective data visualization, and excellent report-writing skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, provide feedback to management, and offer valuable business recommendations.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business partnering, financial planning & analysis, or related roles.While a background in shipping, logistics, or transportation is not mandatory, candidates with experience in similar industries will be preferred.Strong PC skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
