They are known for their exceptional quality of goods, innovation, and possess a strong presence globally.About the Business Controller role:As part of Finance division, you will business partner with assigned business units such as Fleet, Marine Operations and Procurement & Logistics, with focus on cost controls, reviews and reporting. You will partner closely with the business units and other finance teams to ensure accurate cost analysis, variance explanations and other finance requirements.Key Responsibilities:A) Monthly Report & Forecast:Prepare management reports/dashboard, rolling forecasts, full year projections and summarise insights for Management; including monthly review of information, understand and link financial results to operational drivers.Work closely with different stakeholders in Finance on applicable information for updated visualisation and analysis of business unit CAPEX and OPEX.Prepare analysis of actual spent vs budget for the month and YTD.Variance analysis between budgeted, actual and forecast and alert the management in case of deviation. Make proposals to allow for correction.B) Budgetary Planning:Manage and oversee annual budget and forecasts process.Ensure annual Budget is met by the various departments within business function through effective planning and coordination.Provide explanations for differences in budget as compared to previous year.Key Requirements:Degree in Accountancy or relevant discipline with at least 6 years relevant experience with a global shipping firm.Good working knowledge of shipping operations and financial reporting, able to incorporate business considerations into management reports.Provide financial views for business plans.Detail-oriented with strong analytical & problem-solving skills.Communicate clearly and able to distil and explain financial information to non-financial / technical terms.Additional Information:Location: CentralSalary: Up to S$9,000/ NegotiableAttractive Yearly PackageHOW TO APPLY:Simply submit your application with your updated Resume in MS Word Format to Jonathan Liew Ze-Hao (EA Personnel Reg.
